a year ago today

Kyle asked me to marry him and put a ring on my finger. being engaged was wonderful. making such important promises and commitments with the man i loved and planning for the future, our future, was such an exciting & magical time.

a year ago I wrote a note about the proposal so i could remember how it all happened...

"My parents were visiting for the weekend and Kyle used this opportunity to talk to my dad and ask for his blessing. But, I wanted my parents to be able to see the ring before they headed back home to Canada so I told Kyle he had to propose before they left. We had an awesome weekend with my fam and late Saturday night after a delicious dinner at texas roadhouse, me and kyle headed back to my apartment and I was acting all pouty because i still wasn't engaged and then i walked in and found my room transformed with roses and candles and rose petals everywhere. Kyle knelt down and asked me to marry him and I said YES!"
