ten reasons

kyle and i had family home evening tonight. i gave the lesson from a conference talk on establishing a Christ centered home, after reading parts of the article we talked about ways we could improve. we came up with some good ideas and goals for us a couple and then to strengthen our relationship even more i suggested that we each write down ten reasons why we love each other and then read them out loud.

we've never really done anything like this before and i have to say it was awesome! i loved hearing kyle's reasons and so i decided i needed to record them so i can remember this years from now.

why kyle loves me

2. he never yells, never loses his temper, and he's never mean

5. he is always willing to do things w/me whether its playing tennis, getting frozen yogurt, or playing mario party!
6. he's a worthy priesthood holder who blesses me & our home
7. the way he takes such good care of me when i'm sick
8. he's so smart, so responsible, and works so hard
9. he's BEAUTIFUL. all the time i'll look at him and think "i can't believe he's mine. i'm so lucky." from his adorable face to his hot bod, i've caught myself a good-looking man!
10. we get along so well--he's my best friend

after we read our lists it was time for some treats & fun! I had made browned butter chocolate chip cookies earlier so i heated a couple up and topped them with some vanilla ice cream. then kyle and i played some connect4 while we chowed down. after i beat him twice in a row, we walked to the park where we played some frisbee golf and kyle was definitely the champion of that game.
