Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

We were lucky this year to be able to spend almost an entire month with family during the holidays! I highly recommend this with a newborn. Thanks to all the extra relatives loving on Ella, me and Kyle were able to get a lot more sleep! And we even went and saw a couple movies, ran errands, and went on a small shopping date together.

We spent most of our time with Kyle's family in Fort Worth, where we relaxed, ate delicious food, saw the hobbit part 2, played speed scrabble and of course opened our Christmas presents! Ella had no idea what was going on around her that morning but she got more presents than me and kyle combined haha. Some of her gifts include a book, new clothes, a bumbo, a doll that has quickly become her favorite thing to look at and the cutest little apron ever! My mother-in-law sewed matching aprons for me and Ella and they are absolutely adorable! I can't wait till Ella is big enough to wear it! Here'a a few pictures of our Christmas Adventures:

Ella got to meet Santa at our Ward Christmas Party!
This picture totally cracks me up, she's either waving or trying to give a high five haha
Kyle's Family
This photo shoot went surprisingly well for having 6 children under the age of 5!

6 Weeks Old

Lots of snuggling With Aunt April!

And lots of cuddles with Grandma Poulsen!

This is how she took her nap one day

This picture melts my heart
(and it was taken in the dark which is why it looks wierd)

Finally got a picture with Ella in her Christmas outfit
Even though it was labeled 0-3 months, she was swimming in it!
It says JOY on the front, even though it didn't fit very well I had to put her in it this year
because she's definitely not gonna fit in it next Christmas!

New Year's Day
It looked nice outside, but once we got out there it was so windy and cool, poor Ella was freezing, so we snapped this pic and ran back inside! Here's to 2014! I'm excited to spend this year with Ella and watch her grow!
